Tour 1, Fjords, mountains and valleys

Oslo-Valdres-Lom-Geiranger-Valdres-Oslo

Departure 20-25 June

The tour departs from Oslo, and takes us over mountains, through valleys, to the fjords of Western Norway, along narrow and twisted roads and to Norways highest mountain.

This is a tour with a great variety of impressions of Norwegian nature. During only 6 days, you will experience a lot of different activities and also visit some of the most scenic spots in Norway.

The fjords of Norway gained the prize as the worlds best nature-based travel destination by National Geographic and two of the fjords were put on the Unesco list of world heritage places.

We will also stay at places which are considered to be some of Norways nicest places, the small cities of Lom and Geiranger.

Day by day itinerary:

 
1. Oslo-Valdresflya, biking along mountain roads
2. White-water rafting in Skjåk
3. Sightseeing on the Geiranger Fjord and hike along the fjord
4. Hike on glacier in Jotunheimen
5. Hike to Norways highest mountain, Galdhøpiggen
6. Horse-riding in Valdres

Tour 2, Around the Hardanger plateau

Oslo, Hønefoss, Geilo, Eidfjord, Odda, Notodden, Oslo

Departure 1-6 August
The tours departs from Oslo, and goes west toward Hardangervidda, which is Northern-Europes largest mountain plateau. During the tour, we will travel around, and partly go into the area, which also is a National park.

We start with at paddling trip at one of Telemarks lakes, and continues our tour south, west and north of Hardangervidda. The tour will provide a wide variety of activities and impressions from a clean and refreshing nature.

1. Lunde, paddling in canoe
2. Rjukan, climbing (elementary level)
3. Folgefonna, glacier-hiking 
4. Lofthus, hike up to the Hardanger plateau
5. Haugastøl, biking
6. Dagali, rafting
