Booking and payment

When booking a tour, a deposit of NOK 500 must be paid within 10 days after the booking. The rest of the tour price is to be paid 6 weeks before departure. If you cancel your booking, the rules are as follows:

• If cancelletion is done 6-4 weeks before departure, 50% of the price is refunded
• If cancelletion is done less than 4 weeks before departure, no refund is granted

We recommend our travellers to have a travel insurance which covers a cancellation.

Nortrek has the right to make changes in the tour content and itinerary, when incidents outside Nortreks control occure. This might be road work, flood, snow and so on (force majeure). If to few people have signed up for a tour, the tour can be cancelled. This must be done at the latest 2 weeks before departure. Nortrek is a member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund.

The trekkers

Participants who have physical or mental illness must inform Nortrek before the tour starts. The trekleader will get this information before departure.

To ensure that all participants will have a good time, it is of importance that we all behave in an appropriate manner inbetween. Participants that in some way or another are a nuisance or puts other people in danger, will be informed about this by the trekleader, and in special situations be dismissed from the rest of the tour. This is also due in case of drug-abuse or excessive use of alcohol.

If the Nortrek trekleader takes photographs during the tour, Nortrek reserves the right to use the pictures without any compensation. The persons on the picture must authorize the use of the pictures for marketing purposes.

If a participant is dissatisfied with any part of the journay, this has to be discussed with the trekleader as soon as possible.
